The Atlanta Environmental Monitoring GIS Project 

W   e   l   c   o   m   e !   to the home page of the Atlanta Environmental Monitoring GIS Project.

This series of interactive maps was produced by the students of Advanced Geographic Information Systems (Geography 4352/6352) Fall semester, 1999, under Elaine Hallisey Hendrix.   These interactive maps are part of a complete environmental monitoring database prepared for Dr. Susan Walcott of the GSU Department of Anthropology and Geography.  The database will be used to analyze the relationship between cultural and environmental change in the Metropolitan Atlanta area.  Click here for project paper in Word format.
